Naomi Renee Westbrook

Naomi Renee Westbrook is the author and creator behind Rooted Radiance and the original framework known as Rooted Healing Language.

Her work was born from lived experience—from surviving what once went unnamed, facing the truths held within the body, and learning that healing requires more than familiar phrases and surface-level advice. It requires language precise enough to identify the wound, honest enough to confront the pattern, and compassionate enough to guide a person back toward the root.

As a Black woman, mother, grandmother, leader, and spiritual practitioner, Naomi writes from the intersections of survival, grief, accountability, transformation, and conscious bloodline change. She creates language for the silent knowing—the emotional experiences people often recognize within themselves but have never been given the words to explain.

Through Rooted Radiance, Naomi is building more than a collection of terms. She is creating a healing language, a reflective framework, and a body of work that invites people to name what happened, write what is true, and become rooted enough to live differently.

Her guiding principle is simple:

“Healing begins when the silent knowing is given language. Compose the thought. Sharpen the truth. Speak what the wound has always known.”

 I created this language while healing from the root, so others would have words for what silence could not explain.
